Preview content without losing context

Routine’s transclusion functionality lets you view content from another object right into the current context.

This is particularly useful when referring to another piece of information that you want to browse without having to navigate away.

More than a reference

In most tools, referencing another object (e.g page) just creates a link. In Routine, you can not only reference any other object, but you can change the display of the link to preview the content of the linked object, known as transclusion.

Whether it’s a project brief, a meeting agenda or a task, you get the full context without breaking your flow. Particularly useful in the context of Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) tools, transclusion is also useful in team workspaces for building connected knowledge.

One source of truth, everywhere

Stop copying content around. Instead embed content from objects to embed and synchronize it.

Any updates made to the original object automatically reflect wherever it’s embedded. No more outdated content, just consistent knowledge across your system.
